Klong Son Bay: is
situated beyond Sapparod Pier on the head of
the island that you can take a minibus to reach there. Coconut
trees are standing alone the road as local people still live in
the traditional way. Klong Son Bay (Had Klong Son)
is very wide and as long as 400 meters. It is not crowded
certainly nomadic people love here.
Bang Bao Fishing Village
This fishing village is built in the
sea, with wooden bridges linking each house together. The
village make a living by fishing and catching the plentiful soft
cuttlefish. This island is also a major source of "Kapi"
or shrimp paste, together with fresh and dried seafood.
Home-stay type accommodation is available for tourists who want
to savor an authentic taste of village lift. Other interesting
activities include rafting in mangrove forests and diving.
Tourists can rent villager's boat to visit other islands. Prices
are negotiable.
